“When one
part suffers, every part suffers with it, when one part is honored, every part
rejoices with it.”
1 Corinthians 12:26
The Managerial Skills Enhancement Program I
(MSEP-I) result as reported in this paper delivered a telling surprise to the
BSP community. SED IV personnel, all ARBEX members, topped the first five
offerings. The 6th batch, with no SED IV participant, went to
another Department.
There is no denying that SED IV personnel have what it takes to
perform above par. The MSEP result
confirms the extent of training our examiners have in performing our sworn
duties. The experience gained in scrutinizing small-sized banks wherein every
transaction pass through a litmus test, is unquantifiable. In this age, already
veering away from specialization, our people have clear advantages. The
decision-making processes, the presentation skills and the goal-setting
mentality, are some of the qualities developed in the tedious examination
process (a RB examiner can examine a bank even if he were alone).
Other BSP employees may remain skeptical, but SED IV personnel
believe they can always deliver. The BSP
Institute records can undeniably vouch for the excellent performance of our
employees in seminars/workshops they participated in.
The Department, continuing to
be a repository of professional and impartial personnel, proves to be a bastion
of effective and efficient supervision towards a balanced environment of micro
and countryside banking. This unstated
vision remains a possibility gauging the brilliance our populace has shown so
far.
To Joy, Freddie, Ver, Ding and Henry, all proud topnotchers,
our hats off to you. Congratulations!!!
