In His Time
Hedy Taas
Some
people turn their backs on you,
They
won’t accept you’re just different too;
But
in His time you’ll find the love
Of
those who’ll be there for you no matter what.
I ask our
Maker not for fame.
Opportunities
you wish for to others go each day,
Citations,
promotions just slip away;
But
in His time you will receive
The
greatest gift only you deserve.
I ask our
Maker not for success.
A
loved one lost, a colleague, a friend,
You
couldn’t bear the loss and pain;
But
in His time you’ll have to accept
They
were the greatest treasures that
couldn’t be here till the end.
I ask our
Maker not for wealth.
Oh
yes, I ask for serenity instead
To
accept where Hey life has led;
Our
Maker is wise and fair without fail,
Who
am I to question His will?
