the following changes in ARBEX Express:

from tabloid-type to magazine-type

Frequency
of issue/publication from quarterly to semi-annual
Approved
the search for Vision and Mission Statement, a contest which ARBEX Express will
launch in the coming 1st semester issue for the year 2002. A prize is set @P3,000.00 if both Vision and
Mission statements are derived from one entry or @1, 500.00 each if coming from
two separate entries plus lifetime exemption from membership fees in both
cases. Proposed judges for the contest
are the past and incumbent Chairman of ARBEX and Deputy Director Benilda S.
Allon. All members in good standing are
qualified to join except for the members of the Editorial Board.
Approved
the transfer of P80,000.00 from savings account to time deposit account.
Confirmed the
convention of rural bank examiners – “Strategic planning for image building” –
to be held on September 27, 2002, Friday at Century Park Hotel.
Education
Committee, headed by Eleane L. Reyes, will prepare the topics/lectures for the
said convention. The Social Affairs
Committee, headed by Noel Gavino, will handle the arrangement/set up.
